Refund and Return Policy For SAFARI SIGHTS

Thank you for shopping at SAFARI SIGHTS.

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to SAFARI SIGHTS LLC, 8031 SEPULVEDA BLVD APT 16 PANORAMA CITY CA, 91402-4430.

  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.

  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

  • Service refers to the Website.

  • Website refers to SAFARI SIGHTS, accessible from https://safarisights.com

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Cancellations

All bookings for our tour trips and sightseeing in Los Angeles, California are non-refundable. If however, Safari Sights LLC cancels any transportation or travel services, where the passenger is not at fault and has not canceled in violation of any terms and conditions previously clearly and conspicuously disclosed and agreed to by the passenger, all sums paid to Safari Sights LLC for services not provided will be promptly paid to the passenger, unless the passenger advises Safari Sights LLC in writing, after cancellation.

This provision does not apply where Safari Sights LLC has remitted the payment to another registered wholesale seller of travel or a carrier, without obtaining a refund, and where the wholesaler or provider defaults in providing the agreed-upon transportation or service. In this situation, Safari Sights LLC will provide the passenger with a written statement accompanied by bank records establishing the disbursement of the payment, and if disbursed to a wholesale seller of travel, proof of current registration of that wholesaler. Ref:Seller of Travel Law(17550.14).

Refund Terms

Refund terms: (1) Thirty days from one of the following dates: (A) The scheduled date of departure. (B) The day the passenger requests a refund. (C) The day of cancellation by the seller of travel. (2) Three days from the day the seller of travel is first unable to provide the air or sea transportation or travel services.


Please read the following carefully: 1. “California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. This business has a bond issued by AMERICAN CONTRACTORS INDEMNITY COMPANY in the amount of $25,000.00”. 2.This business is a participant in the “TRAVEL CONSUMER RESTITUTION FUND”(TCRF) number:708792. This transaction is covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) if the seller of travel was registered and participating in the TCRF at the time of sale and the passenger is located in California at the time of payment.


Eligible passengers may file a claim with TCRF if the passenger is owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services which the seller of travel failed to forward to a proper provider or such money was not refunded to you when required. The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRF to any one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel, not to exceed $15,000.


A claim must be submitted to the TCRF within 12 months after the scheduled completion date of the travel. A claim must include sufficient documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processing fee. Claimants must agree to waive their right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a TCRF claim. You may request a claim form by writing to:Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation; 468 Manzanita Ave., Suite 1, Chico, CA 95926; or by visiting TCRC’s website at: www.tcrcinfo.org.


For passengers purchasing from outside of California, this transaction is not covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund and Seller of Travel Law. Third party sellers of travel who Safari Sights LLC partners with to provide air transportation or travel services or hotel accommodations that are(a) located outside of the United States and (b) are not in compliant with the provisions of 17550.16 of the Seller of Travel Law are exempt from Section 17550.15( that deals with customer’s deposits, withdrawals, responsibilities and bond). Please contact them directly to know their terms and conditions of service and cancellation policies including the risks and consequences of dealing with them.

Please do not proceed with any booking of Safari Sights LLC tours and sightseeing trips in Los Angeles, California if you do not agree with any provisions of this cancellation policy.

Other Products not related to Tours and Sightseeing

You are entitled to cancel your order after booking any activity offered by Safari Sights; Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, if you do not cancel your order 24 hours to the scheduled date of the event or departure, you will not get a refund.

 For all transportation services involving the use of our vehicles, all pickups and drop-offs will incur a $50.00 extra charge if the driver waits for you after 15 minutes of arrival. The maximum time a driver is allowed to wait is 1 hour including the 15 minutes of arrival. After that, if you have not showed up, there will be no refund. 

If you cancel your trip between 15 – 60 minutes of the driver waiting , you will be charged 50% of the total trip amount in addition to paying the $50.00 extra charge for the wait time.To avoid such a scenario, please add extra time when booking on the first page of the booking form. 

Alternatively, you can book your trip by “Hour” instead of by “Distance”, if you believe you will need more time at pickup or drop-off. Lastly, if any member in your group damages or soils any part of the vehicle’s interior or exterior, a charge equal to the amount of the damage and repair will be charged to the account of the lead customer/client , with a presentation of a receipt for the repair or cleaning of the affected area of the vehicle. 

If you do not agree with these requirements, please do not make any reservations or booking of our transportation services. Thank you.  

This cancellation, return and refund policy is effective only to products and services offered directly by Safari Sights. Packages like hotel bookings and reservation and issuing of airline tickets are offered by third party providers and suppliers and are therefore outside of Safari Sights jurisdiction. Please contact these entities directly to learn more about their cancellation, return and refund policies.


However, Safari Sights retains the right to charge a fee where such cancellations or reschedules are a result of using the company’s online or offline services to provide third party products like the ones mentioned above to customers/clients.


In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You within 30 days from the day on which the scheduled event was supposed to take place. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Conditions for Returns

In order for the Goods if any sold by us to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 30 days
  • The Goods are in the original packaging
  • The Goods were not used or damaged
  • You have the receipt or proof of purchase


The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products


We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods at the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.

Gifts

If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, You’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to You.

If the Goods weren’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the Order shipped to themselves to give it to You later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.
